WINNIPEG, MB: The BraBar & Panterie, a leading Canadian lingerie store with two Winnipeg locations, has actively supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of all proceeds from the business’s Fall Sale, as well as all other sales made in the month of October, were donated to CancerCare Manitoba.
Specializing in personalized bra fitting services in a relaxed, professional environment, The BraBar & Panterie has been an established name and leader in Canada’s undergarment and swimwear retail industry for years. Serving women from the Winnipeg area in person and also offering online shopping opportunities for customers across Canada, the store boasts an extensive selection of stunning, high-quality bras, swimwear, panties, and sleepwear to flatter every figure.
The BraBar & Panterie is also proud to be an approved vendor for CancerCare Manitoba’s Breast Prosthesis Program, a service that offers eligible women across Manitoba access to prosthetic and surgical bras. The store stocks a wide variety of post-surgical bras, mastectomy bras, and breast forms and its certified fitters possess the sensitivity, experience, and expertise to help women restore their natural shape as they battle breast cancer.
Crystal Adamson, owner of The BraBar & Panterie, viewed October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) as a natural time to give back to the Breast Prosthesis Program, which so many of her business’s customers benefit from. “CancerCare provides incredible support to Manitoba women affected by breast cancer, and in our line of work, we see the difference that makes every single day,” she said. “A portion of all proceeds from our Fall Sale, and all other sales we made in October, were donated directly to CancerCare Manitoba. Gratefully, we were able to donate $2500.”
